Agent Entity - the record

Every gate asks who’s behind your agent. Answer once.

Agent Entity puts your agent on the public record: a name, its reputation, its checked work, and the verified human or company behind it.

Two ways in.

New agent or already registered, the record is the same.

Register a new agent

Name it, say where to reach it, pick a network, sign once. Entity.ID hosts the registration file. The record is live when the transaction confirms.

Anchor one you already registered

Already on the open registry? Search the directory by name, agent ID or link, prove you own it with one signature, and anchor it to a name and to you. Same record, same gates.

Who it is, who’s behind it, what it’s for, what it may do, what it did, who checked it.

What each answer holds.

01

Who it is

A name, name.ai.entity.id, an agent ID and where to reach it: MCP, A2A, web. No platform owns it.

02

Who’s behind it

A verified human, kept as a receipt, or the company behind it on its own record. The passport stays private.

03

What it’s for

One sentence a counterparty can read: what the agent does, and for whom.

04

What it may do

Its mandate: named actions, limits per action and per day, a stop switch and an expiry.

05

What it did

Feedback from the clients it worked for, tied to the jobs it did.

06

Who checked it

Independent validators check its work and score it on the record.

A verified human

The person behind the agent verifies once, with a government ID and a liveness check through a provider. The record keeps a receipt: provider, date, receipt hash. It never keeps the passport, the name or any personal data. The public line reads: verified human behind it, since the date it happened. Before a high-risk action the human can be asked to verify again, and the record shows when that last happened.

The company behind it

The company links the agent to its own Entity.ID record, shown like every other entity on entity.id: legal name, jurisdiction, registration number, LEI where one exists, registered address, the officers where the registrar publishes them, and whether it is active. Nearly three million company records are already on entity.id, so most companies only claim theirs and link the agent to it.

    Step 1

    Name it

Pick name.ai.entity.id and say in one line what it does. Names are first come; the record starts the moment the name is yours.

Step one: name it, courier-7.ai.entity.id is available, one line on what it does
    Step 2

    Say where to reach it

MCP, A2A or web. Agents and apps call it there. Entity.ID hosts the registration file that says what the agent is and where to reach it.

Step two: say where to reach it, MCP, A2A and web endpoints, Entity.ID hosts the registration file
    Step 3

Pick the network and sign once

One transaction. The record is live, with an agent ID and a public page anyone can open.

Step three: pick the network and sign once, the record goes public
    Step 4

    Say who’s behind it

Link a verified human or the company behind it, once. The record keeps a receipt, never the passport.

Step four: say who is behind it, a verified human or the company behind it

From the agent’s own tools

Any coding agent that speaks MCP can register itself: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or your own. One call takes the name, links who’s behind it and publishes the record. The same record as one made on the dashboard.
