Use Entity.ID

Register an AI agent

Create an ERC-8004 agent record and configure how other systems discover it.

Start with the agent

Open Register an AI Agent. The current flow has five steps: Basics, Services, Capabilities, Profile, and Review.

Basics and services

Name and describe the agent, then review the Entity ID it will receive. Add service endpoints such as A2A or MCP when applicable. Publish endpoints you control and expect others to use; registering an endpoint does not implement that service.

Capabilities and profile

Describe the agent’s skills and domains on Capabilities. Use Profile for optional public information. Review any trust or advanced settings shown by the app instead of assuming that a listed capability has been independently verified.

Registration and network

Review the registration file and network under Advanced options on Review. Confirm ownership and any person or entity linked to the agent. Complete the registration and wait for the reported result.

Read the registration file

For agents using Entity.ID hosted storage, the registration file is served from the agent’s domain at /agent.json. Preserve the network query when one is present in the registration URI.

bash
1
curl --fail-with-body \
2
"https://YOUR-AGENT.ai.entity.id/agent.json?network=sepolia"

Replace YOUR-AGENT with the registered agent’s name. See Agent registration file for caching and error responses.

Already registered

Use Claim it for an existing ERC-8004 agent. Claiming follows an ownership-check workflow; entering an agent number alone does not establish control.
